Christmas celebration was well-planned and organized by Artiste’ Estudio- the Cultural Club of EThames. The college was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in red, white and green which was the theme of the hour. The celebration began with enchanting carols sung by the college choir.
On the glorious occasion of our mighty country’s 73rd Independence Day, our college hosted a simple and elegant flag hoisting ceremony with the presence of our principal ‘Dr. I. Parthasarthi’, who unfurled the national flag ‘The ceremony was beautiful and sweet just like the morning sky of 15th August 2019,
EThames Students were taken for Industrial visit to give them a real time exposure to business and market scenarios through observation and interaction with industry experts. Students were taken to Production Plant by Mr. Murali Gopal (Head of Public Relations) to help them know about : lay out of the plant, production, operations in progress, process of assembly of components and finally, the finished product (Thermal Turbines). Production Manager explained whole process of production at different stages and answered questions posed by students with enthusiasm and patience. Later Mr. P.V.Arun Kumar, (Senior Deputy General Manager, Finance), addressed the students and gave presentation on history, performance, achievements and strategies successfully followed by BHEL since its inception.
